December 5, 6 & 7, 2008

Strolling musicians, roasted chestnuts, ice sculptures and Christmas decorations will adorn the square. Under the big tent, traditional German food, bratwurst, potato pancakes, goulash and apple strudel will tempt your taste buds. To warm you as you listen to traditional Christmas Carols sip on glogg (warm spiced wine) or toast with authentic German beer.

Getting involved with the Lincoln Square Chamber of Commerce gives you an invaluable opportunity to increase the strength of your business and of your community. Make a difference by becoming involved with a committee or by volunteering for one of the Chamber's many activities. You'll have the chance to network with other business owners and share referrals. The Chamber also offers a number of ways to promote your business, including advertising and sponsorship opportunities. Founded in 1948, the Lincoln Square Chamber of Commerce is a professionally staffed not-for-profit association of nearly 300 local businesses, institutions, and professionals committed to addressing the issues most important to our livelihood and community. The Chamber works to improve the economic strength of Lincoln Square

by assisting its members with networking and marketing opportunities, advocacy and training, and area planning and development.

We sponsor more than 30 days of special events for our neighbors each year. We also serve as a resource to tourists, visitors and residents by offering numerous publications, maps and referrals to better acquaint newcomers to the area. We manage the day-to-day programs of the Lincoln Square Business Improvement District—a property-tax funded program providing for a clean, attractive and competitive commercial district, and the Lincoln Square Foundation—a 501(c)3 charitable organization delivering educational scholarships and cultural enrichment activities for the Lincoln Square community.

Since 1948, Lincoln Square has operated its own Chamber of Commerce. Today, the Lincoln Square Chamber of Commerce continues to work diligently to maintain the vital connections between the community and the businesses
