The Lincoln Square Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to promoting and administering economic development programs for our businesses. In addition to the programs that the Chamber of Commerce operates on a daily basis (such as the Retail Attraction, Technical Assistance to Small Businesses and Marketing Programs), Lincoln Square's major economic development programs are divided into three administrative categories: the Special Service Area—administered by the Chamber of Commerce with oversight from the Special Service Area Board of Commissioners; the Western Avenue North TIF—administered by 47th Ward Alderman Gene Schulter and the City of Chicago Department of Planning and Development; and a variety of City of Chicago programs administered by the Department of Planning and Development. Learn more about the Special Service Area #21, the Western Avenue North TIF and other City of Chicago Programs.
