- Generate new business by prospecting for clients through internet leads, networking, cold calling and referrals
- Build on existing relationships and centers of influence to create referral sources
- Collect information from clients in order to offer them insurance products based on their specific needs
- Stay up to date on the latest insurance product offerings/trends and be able to apply it in real time
- Bilingual a plus
- Ability to work in a dynamic, goal driven environment
- Comprehension of insurance products including auto, fire, life, property and health is a plus
- Skilled working with computers and Microsoft office tools
- Excellent skills in communication, presentation and organization
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions and in creating long-lasting relationships
- Willingness to obtain or already have IL State Insurance licenses to sell auto, fire, life and health insurance
