DESCRIPTION:Community Meeting\n\nThursday\, November 3 @ 6:30pm\n\n\n\nJoin us in our next steps for Building a Local Food System:\n\n\n\n  Bring your favorite recipe to share that utilizes fresh food from your garden or the local farmer's market.\n\n\n\n  Discuss new initiatives and momentum in the local food movement.\n\n\n\n  Enjoy fresh\, organically grown cooking herbs from NNC's garden.\n\n\n\nWhat we've been doing:\n\nJuly   our first in a series of meetings\, to be a community resource.\n\nAugust   began collecting and distributing to the Ravenswood Community\n\nServices food pantry/kitchen.\n\nSeptember   the first NNC workshop on canning fresh produce\, and a fund raiser at Red Lion.\n\nOctober   exceeded 500 lbs of neighbor fresh produce donated to the food pantry.\n\nNovember   recipe sharing and next steps \n\n\n\n\n\nBe part of the local food movement   attend NNC's community meeting.\n\n\n\n\n\nGrow Local * Eat Local * Feed Your Neighbor
