DESCRIPTION:Enroll your children in a 2 week Summer camp designed to provide an introduction to German language and culture with an emphasis on fun!\n\n	Program is for children between 5  9 years old.\n\n	Previous German experience is not required and program is fully bilingual.\nChildren may enroll in one of two tracts:\n\n \n\nKleine K nstler: Kinder will learn abut Germany's contributions to the Fine Arts\n\n \n\nGermans in Motion: Kinder will experience Germany's expanse of sports and hobbies\n\n \n\nTypical Day\n\n9 am - Circle Time\n\n10 am - Theory\n\n11 am - Lunch \n\n11:45 am Activity\n\n1 pm - Circle Time\n\n1:30 pm Free Play\n\nInstructors are recent\, native transplants\, child to instructor ratio held 1:12.  \n\n \n\nConvenient drop off and pick up zone in front of Center.  The Office and Classrooms are on the 3rd floor of the DANK Haus German American Cultural Center. The building is elevator equipped.  Lunch is not provided by Center.\n\n\n	 \n\n	\n		German is the most widely spoken language of the EU - with 90 million people speaking German as their first language.\n	\n		Germany is one of four primary trading partners of the United States\, which has the largest concentration of German speakers outside of Europe.\n	\n		Knowledge of German language and culture is personally rewarding and improves travel and employment opportunities\n	\n		Preserving German culture and language enriches families and communities.\n\n \n\nFACULTY & STAFF\n\nOur committed faculty members are diverse in their educational background and life experiences\, well qualified and highly motivated.
