DESCRIPTION:Calling all Maifest Volunteers! We will be hosting a Maifest Volunteer Orientation Meeting on Thursday\, May 2nd at 6:30 PM. This brief educational meeting will cover all of the duties at Maifest. From check in to check out\, we will cover safe food handling\, menu\, prices\, sunscreen and of course how to pour a perfect German Bier! We will also briefly mention other volunteer opportunities at the Haus!\n\nIn addition to food safety\, we will be distributing your Maifest German Chicago T-shirts! If you already own a DANK Haus "pretzel" volunteer t-shirt\, please wear it to the meeting so new volunteers can easily identify our "pros"!\n\nVolunteering at Maifest is a great way to meet new friends\, or sign up with a group of your friends and introduce them to the Haus! We have over 500 volunteer shifts available. Flex your grill skills\, serve up some sauerkraut\, build our booth\, be a DANK Haus ambassador\, or serve on a clean-up crew - there's a job for everyone! To show our appreciation\, for every shift worked\, volunteers receive a one drink ticket and a meal ticket.\n\nDANK Haus Volunteers must attend the orientation meeting. T-shirts and orientation packets will be distributed. Light refreshments\, beer\, and wine will be served. Come out and meet the crew!\n\nFree Parking located at MB Financial located at Western and Gunnison.
