DESCRIPTION:The City of Chicago\, in partnership with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF)\, other local communities has launched Solar Chicago to bring solar electricity for homeowners into the mainstream. The 47th Ward is participating in Solar Chicago to make it easy to determine if solar is a good fit for your home and less expensive\, with the added benefit that the more residents sign up for Solar Chicago\, the lower the cost to all participants.  \n\nThe selected solar company will be announced soon! They were selected through a competitive bidding process and are offering a significant discount to residents in exchange for outreach support from our community. \n\n \n\nOne of the most exciting aspects of Solar Chicago is the tiered volume rebate. The more people sign up for the program\, the greater the savings for every homeowner\, no matter when they sign up. Our goal is to reach the lowest possible price\, so be sure to let everyone know about this program!
