Children from age 4 10 explore Monday through Fridays from August 11th to August 22nd from 9am to 2pm language and culture fun through hands on activities. Making our own Bretzeln on Bavaria Day\, enjoying water fun and games on Hamburg Day or a field trip to the Berlin Wall on Berlin Day are just a few of the activities that we have planned for August.\n\n \n\nA typical day at the Sommer camp looks like this:\n\n9am: fun morning routine reading books\, singing songs\, playing games and introducing the topics of the day. \n\n10 am: the children will split up in two groups of children age 4 to 6 and age 7 to 10. During this segment the young travelers will learn about the states of the day and work on age appropriate activities and projects.\n\n11:30: lunch time.\n\n12pm: returning to groups\, finishing up morning projects\n\n1pm: Passport time: Children reflect on the information they have received during the day\n\n1:30: free play\n\n \n\nInstructors are recent\, native transplants\, child to instructor ratio held 1:12. \n\n \n\nThe Sommercamp is held August 11 through 22\, 2014. Daily 9:00 am and 2:00 pm.\n\n \n\nConvenient drop off and pick up zone in front of Center. The Office and Classrooms are on the 3rd floor of the DANK Haus German American Cultural Center. The building is elevator equipped.
