SUMMARY:The Art of Asian Ink Painting Creative Retreat
DESCRIPTION:Learn the art of Asian sumi-e ink painting and the symbolism behind it. Spend time experimenting with basic sumi-e brush strokes and techniques. Each participant will create several small paintings of the traditional Asian flora bamboo\, plum blossom\, chrysanthemum and orchid. Then use your new brush stroke skills and apply them to silk to create your own colorful hand-painted silk scarf.
