The Rockwell Theatre Bandits \;are a new \;theatre initiative dedicated to fostering community through the arts in Ravenswood\, Lincoln Square\, \;and its surrounding neighborhoods. From playwrights to actors to directors\, RTB aims to bring storytellers and artists in our community together as a way of engaging with our neighbors and building bridges into each others'\; lives. \;

\n\nIn addition to connecting people to people\, we aim to connect people to place. To achieve this goal\, we use spaces within our neighborhood to host our readings\, rehearsals\, and plays. We are endlessly grateful to these spaces for their hospitality. \;

\n\nOur big project for 2018 is a series of new play workshops that will culminate in staged readings around the Ravenswood/Lincoln Square area throughout August and September. For this project\, we are gathering local artists to share new stories from the diverse narratives and voices of our community
