SUMMARY:Women's Networking June
DESCRIPTION:Leadership Toolbox: Managing v. Leading\nInterested in running a more effective business? Or gaining more insight and self confidence in yourself? As a small female business owner you have more than likely found yourself either managing or leading a team whether they are vendors\, employee's\, clients/customers or a project. These two terms can be utilized interchangeably\, yet they are in fact two very separate styles with different approaches\, personalities and outcomes. By taking the time to learn more about each style you will gain the insight and self confidence needed to build morale\, cohesion and better communication as well as run an effective\, mindful business. In this session we will define what makes a Manager/Leader and answer the following questions: What separates Managers and Leaders? Can we move from Manager to Leader and back again? What holds women back from becoming better Managers and Leaders? Last of all we will discuss collectively and develop individually a list of criteria outlining how we\, as small female business owners\, will reach our own leadership potential now and in the future.
