Join us Saturday, February 23rd for our Artist Workshop “Holzritzbilder” taught by Beate Axmann. Class will be held in the Scharpenberg Gallery where Beate Axmann’s artwork is currently on exhibit. Students will be taught a unique technique that utilizes acrylic paint on wood to create one of a kind artwork. Instructions and supplies are included in the course fee of $25 per person / $20 for members. This class is appropriate for all levels of artistic ability and is open to all ages.
Class is 10:00 AM – Noon on Saturday, February 23, 2019. The DANK Haus is located at 4740 N. Western Avenue across the street from the Western Brown Line stop. Street parking is metered on Western Avenue.
About the Artist
Beate Axmann is an internationally acclaimed German artist. Her current exhibit, "Black Forest Peace Symphony" is inspired by the struggles of the refugees to Germany. We are thrilled to have Axmann’s work on exhibit for the month of February and encourage everyone to take this opportunity to meet her and learn more about her art and her German homeland.
