Holiday season is an extra-fun time to get your craft on, and there's so much more to create beyond the traditional wreath. The scent of evergreens brighten any space and arrangements make terrific gifts. Good news - they’re surprisingly easy to make!
If you’ve never worked with live evergreens before, you’ll be a confident creator by the end of this class. It’s fun, relaxing, and satisfying. Plus, BYOB... #extrarelaxing
Class fee includes instruction and all the supplies you'll need. If your hands are sensitive, please bring gloves (as form-fitting as possible). Must be 21 to participate.
About your instructor:
Andrew Snyder, is a Chicago-based Creative Director who’s also an edible gardener. He’s a self-taught evergreen guy who started making simple arrangements from clippings at his parents’ home in Indiana. Andrew has a great eye for design, likes to have fun while making and teaching, and knows how to keep things simple for DIYers.
Parking/Transportation Instructions:
There is public street parking on Catalpa, Western Ave, and neighborhood side streets. If you're biking to the event, feel free to bring it inside the yard and lock it up there. We are still awaiting our official bike rack from the city.
The closest CTA Train station is the Western Brown Line stop. From there, we are accessible by a 22 minute walk (weather permitting) or a quick bus ride via the 49B that has a stop directly at Western & Catalpa right outside our door.
