The City of Chicago launched a new Restaurant Start-up Program on June 13 which will make it easier for business owners to start and operate restaurants. The Restaurant Start-up Program will reduce the time it takes to open a restaurant by eliminating unnecessary reviews, reducing the number of inspection visits, providing complete information on the application process, and better preparing business owners for inspections.
The session will cover the licensing and permitting processes and restaurant inspections. We will also provide tools that will help you better assist your constituents interested in opening a restaurant. Representatives from BACP and other City departments will be on hand to answer questions.
