Senior Exemption Workshops

To make it easier for my constituents to get help with their senior exemption applications, I will be holding a series of workshops around the 12th District to give seniors the one-on-one help they need.  A big thanks to Congressman Mike Quigley and 47th Ward Alderman Ameya Pawar for agreeing to host us as we work to assist people in getting the tax exemptions they're entitled to! 
 
At these workshops, members of my staff can assist you in completing the required applications.  We will then notarize the forms on-site and turn them into the Assessor's office for processing. And that's it - your exemption filing will be complete!
 
Workshop details are as follows:
 
My District Office
When: Tuesday, March 6, 10am-1pm
Where: 2539 N. Southport Ave.
 
Congressman Mike Quigley's District Office
When: Friday, March 9, 1-4pm
Where: 3742 W. Irving Park
 
47th Ward Alderman Pawar's Office
When: Wednesday, March 14, 10am-1pm
Where: 4243 N. Lincoln Ave.
 
All workshops are first come, first serve.  
 
***Please remember to bring a copy of your most recent property tax bill, your 2010 Federal 1040 Income Tax form, a valid state-issued ID, as well as a copy of your 2010 senior exemption applications (when applicable)***
