Interior Design Intern

Unpatterned, a residential interior design firm in Ravenswood, is seeking a part-time Design Intern to support our full-time designers. Our work is residential in nature, including renovations, new construction and decorating with a penchant for color and pattern. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, willing to learn and adaptable. This is for someone in an interior design/interior architecture or similar program or someone switching careers. Tasks will vary, but can include the following:

• Design library management and vendor research

• AutoCAD Drawings

• Assist in creation of design boards and renderings

• Sample and material sourcing from showrooms and digitally

• Creation of IVY Proposals and FF&E Schedules

• Attend meetings/provide meeting notes and follow-up

• Assist on photoshoots and installations

• Take photos/video for social media 

• General errands as needed

Requirements

• 10-20 hours, flexible schedule, primarily in-person work at our Ravenswood Studio

• AutoCAD knowledge, Rendering software a plus

• Knowledge of Adobe Suite, Google Docs/Microsoft Suite

• Knowledge of Mailchimp, Squarespace, Adobe Suite, Canva or IVY a plus 

• A sincere appreciation of color, pattern and texture strongly encouraged

• Pursuing a design degree or program required
