• Business & Procurement Coordinator

    Our residential interior design firm, with a penchant for renovations and the use of color, is seeking a full-time Business & Procurement Coordinator. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, direct and efficient at communications, adapt to change easily, and have a professional demeanor, a sense of humor, and the ability to wear many hats.

    Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

    Project Management & Client Relations

    • Manage procurement: collaborate with Principal and Associate Designer to create proposals and invoices and manage purchase orders. Efficiently troubleshoot any order complications or delays. 

    • Track and schedule deliveries and installs, including coordinating with clients and receiving deliveries in-person.

    • Schedule meetings, manage shared calendars, and correspond directly with clients and collaborators.

    • Manage client onboarding and offboarding.

    • Manage key deadlines and deliverables required from teammates as needed for internal projects.

    • Create and implement internal processes.

    • Assist the Principal in overall communications and calendar management.

    • Review monthly sales tax accounting in coordination with bookkeeper.


    • Periodically update our website, Pinterest and Houzz. 

    • Create and update marketing collateral.

    • Manage Instagram content and schedule, including: taking behind-the-scenes photographs and videos, creating reels, planning content, and creating deliverables and deadlines for team members as needed.

    • Manage internal event planning: team outings, client appreciation events, participation in Chamber of Commerce and other local events.

    • Manage monthly Mailchimp newsletter, including writing and formatting.

    • Schedule and prepare for photoshoots, including sourcing props, and assist on site day-of.

    • Research business development opportunities, including potential partnerships with realtors, builders and architects.

    • Research, write, and submit press pitches for new projects.

    • Ensure all marketing materials follow company brand standards.

    Studio Upkeep

    • Organize studio library - purging / returning old samples, filing new ones, expanding it, including visiting showrooms and vendors.

    • Create and maintain trade accounts with new and existing vendors, including scheduling studio visits/presentations.

    • Run errands as needed related to projects and studio upkeep.

    • Update window, shelf, and board displays within the space.

    • Order office supplies, paint swatches, material samples, etc.

    • Mail and package management, tracking, shipping, etc. 

    • Light office tidying.


    • Bachelor’s Degree and 0–3 years experience in a professional field; need not be design-related

    • 35-40 hours/week

    • Access to a car and valid driver's license is non-negotiable

    • Ability to work in-person at our Ravenswood design studio at least 3x a week as well as other locations with some work from home opportunity once acclimated

    • Superior organizational skills and impeccable communication, writing, and grammar skills

    • Knowledge of Google Drive/Microsoft Suite

    • Knowledge of Instagram, Mailchimp, Squarespace, Canva

    • Experience with IVY, Adobe Suite a plus 

    • Available to start mid-to-end of March

    • Salaried position 

    • PTO included

    • Work from home/flexibility on average 2x a week

    • This is not a design position
