Family Bike Safety Event
Sponsored by the City of Chicago Department of Transportation, CAPS, & City Clerk's Office
Bring or ride your bike to the library parking lot. Listen to a story, learn safety tips, ask questions, and challenge yourself on an obstacle course with Chicago’s bike safety and education specialists: The Bicycling Ambassadors! There will also be free fittings (bring your own helmet), bike maps, games, and prizes. Surprise special guests: The Chicago Police Bicycle Officers hope to have the opportunity to ride by to show their bicycles and talk more about safety and fun on the bike.
Don’t forget to check on your child’s safety and protection with the Kids I.D. Program (car seats, fingerprinting, & photo), from the City Clerk’s Office.
