• Fall Wine Stroll - 2019 Application

    Wine Stroll has been a popular bi-annual event for many years in Lincoln Square Ravenswood. People purchase tickets in advance for one route. On the night of Wine Stroll, they must first check-in at a designated location. They bring their ticket, show ID for a wristband, and sign a waiver. They're given a goodie bag, which includes a branded wine glass and a route program. This event is a great way to tour the local business community while enjoying tastes of wine and delicious small bites.

    Here's how it works: Wine Stroll sponsors (Augusta Food and Wine, Bottles & Cans, and Fountainhead Market) secure the wines to be poured AND assign certified wine reps to pour at each participating business location. A curated list of local restaurants will provide light bites/appetizers for each business, so each wine stroll stop has food . To ensure variety for ticketholders, each business will have different wine selections and small bites.

    Please select ONE package based on your business type. **Approval based on businesses in close proximity. One route is at least 9 businesses in walkable proximity to each other. Package pricing includes wines sourced by event sponsors, and food platters from a curated list of local restaurants.

    We're a restaurant/event space/retail business with our own liquor license. We'll provide our own wines (mix of red, white, and/or sparkling) and food platters for 100 attendees (One route) or 200 attendees (Two routes).

    We're a restaurant/event space without a liquor license. We'll provide food platters for 100 attendees (One route) or 200 attendees (Two routes). We will need wines and wine rep provided by event sponsors.
    Please list your in-store event, or promotion, or special for Wine Stroll. Submit your business logo OR ad for the Wine Stroll route program by Friday, October 11, 2019.
    WINE STROLL RULES AND GUIDELINES
    Wine Stroll applications MUST be submitted by Friday, September 27, 2019. Submission of an application does not guarantee participation in the event. Wine Stroll routes require a certain number of business participants in close proximity to one another in order to create a route. Applicants with outstanding debt to LSRCC will not be allowed to participate until outstanding financial obligations are rectified. Applicants that are not current members of LSRCC will be charged the general pricing to participate. There is a discounted fee for LSRCC members. This is a rain or shine event. Inclement weather or Acts of God may result in the cancellation of the event, but not the refunding of any fees or expenses.
    Event Requirements *
    • All participants MUST be open to the Wine Stroll ticketholders during the event hours, 6:30pm - 9:30pm. • Participants are responsible for providing a space for wine reps to pour within their business. • Ice or refrigeration will be required to keep white, rose, or sparkling wines chilled. • Participants will be notified when to pick up their wines from the LSRCC office. Also provided: wine key, bucket, pour restrictors. • .Participants are responsible for providing an area to place food for attendees. LSRCC will notify each participant with food platter pick-up details.
    Event Details *
    • Attendees of the Wine Stroll will purchase tickets online prior to the day of the event. • All attendees will check-in with LSRCC (or volunteers) at several designated sites, based on route purchased. During check-in, attendees will receive: 1) Branded event wine glass for wine tasting along with a goodie bag 2) Route program listing all participating businesses on purchased wine stroll route (program includes business logo/ad, wine descriptions, food platter info, and business special). 3) Wristband to be worn that indicates attendee's ID was checked, and color-coded to note which route they should follow. • All attendees will have their ID checked by LSRCC to ensure they're of legal age to consume alcohol. The wristband adhered to attendees at check-in will indicate that they are of legal drinking age, and that they have purchased tickets to be on the Wine Stroll.
    General Guidelines *
    • All event participants and their employees are expected to serve as a positive representation of the community and at no time should there be any illegal activities taking place at the event. Any vendor found in violation of these rules can be fined and immediately removed from the event and prosecuted at the Organizer’s discretion. • Mistreatment of event staff or volunteers will not be tolerated. BBIG/ LSRCC reserves the right to remove any individual or company from the event and ban from future Big Buzz Idea Group productions. LSRCC and BBIG employees, related festival providers and participating sponsors shall NOT be responsible for any injury, loss or damage that may occur to the vendor, its employees or property prior to, during or subsequent to the period covered by the vending contract. The vendor signing this contract expressly releases all of the aforementioned from any and all claims from such loss, damage or injury. • LSRCC is not liable for injury or litigation arising from the products/ services you or your company offer to the public. Products offered must comply with applicable state and federal laws. • This event will be photographed and/or videotaped. By participating in this event you hereby consent to the use of your likeness and/or image in those photographs and/or video for future promotional consideration by Apple Fest, the Lincoln Square Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce and/or Big Buzz Idea Group.

    Checks should be made to the Lincoln Square Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce. MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express are accepted. Payments MUST be received by August 16, 2019 in order to not receive a late fee of $50.
