  • Usher in the Fall at the Lincoln Square Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce's 31st Annual Apple Fest!

    Dozens of vendors participate in Apple Fest every year, selling everything from candy apples to scarves and hats. Pick up fresh apple pie, hot apple cider, or even a whole bushel of apples!  When you're finished, bring your food to our Lawrence Avenue Music Stage to hear great local music while you eat.

    And parents won't have all the fun!  Kids can play in our Leland Avenue Kids Zone, featuring child-focused activities throughout the day.  There's something for everyone at Apple Fest!

    Los Perros Cubanos plays La Musica Cubana from the 1940's to today. Lead vocalist and acoustic guitarist Roger Sosa is a first generation Cuban American, who uses music to blend his cultural history with his American experience.

    Jonas Friddle and some of his frequent collaborators form a four-piece Americana folk rock band. Drawing from the deep well of American Roots music, they play his original songs alongside energetic arrangements of traditional songs on banjo, guitar, fiddle, bass, drums, and trumpet. Jonas was raised in the mountains of North Carolina and has adopted Chicago as his home, having developed strong ties to the Old Town School of Folk Music.His banjo-driven compositions have received numerous awards including Song of the Year from The John Lennon Songwriting Competition, First Place in the Great American Song Contest and a nomination for Album of the Year in the Independent Music Awards.

    The Flat Cats, based in Chicago, play a range of vintage and modern music rooted in the hottest swinging jazz and blues, contemporary classics, and timeless standards.  Whether you choose to listen, tap your foot, or cut a rug on the dance floor, you are sure to be entertained!  The group is comprised of six talented musicians with years of performing, arranging, and composing experience.

    Tijuana Hercules is a Chicago based hip shakin', swamp blues combo that surveys the landscape with woe eyes on the past and three eyes on the future.  The band has found musical inspiration in boogie, north Mississippi hill country blues, and hard bop.  Tijuana Hercules has released a handful of critically praised recordings.

    Do you make an amazing apple pie? Do you want to show off your baking skills? If you answered yes to either of these questions you should enter the 2nd annual Apple Fest Apple Pie Bake-Off!  The Bake-Off will take place on Sunday morning of Apple Fest at 10:00am in Giddings Plaza, where local culinary judges will taste and rank your baking skills.  Prizes will be awarded to the top two contestants.  Registration is limited to the first 20 forms received. Applications Deadline: October 3, 5:00pm.
