    Who we are
Lawrence Hall is a Chicago-based nonprofit social services agency that provides therapeutic, wellness, and skill development services to youth, families, and neighborhoods affected by lasting trauma. We foster healing and growth through empowerment, respect, safety, and teamwork.

Our Child & Family Treatment Center (CFTC) is a 24-hour residential program for DCFS- and ISBE-referred youth ages 8–18 who are experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges. With a trauma-informed, outcomes-driven approach, we help youth heal from abuse, neglect, and trauma while building the skills they need to thrive.

    • Provide individual, group, and family therapy using trauma-informed and strengths-based approaches.
    • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team and supervisor.
    • Engage families and caregivers in the healing process and communicate progress toward goals.
    • Participate in multidisciplinary staffings, clinical reviews, and DCFS or court meetings as needed.
    • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with Medicaid and agency standards.
    • Provide on-call support on a rotating schedule and adapt to the needs of the program.
