Lillstreet Art Center will host their 44th annual Holiday Party on Saturday, November 30. Adorned with decorative lights and festive touches, the Lillstreet Shop & Gallery will feature new work from over 25 artists—including special holiday collections from their current Artists-in-Residence.
Lillstreet will also celebrate the opening of their 2019 Holiday Show, featuring the work of ceramic artists Delores Fortuna, Stuart Gair, Nancy Gardner, Glynnis Lessing, Laura Marmash, Joseph Pintz, Momoko Usami, and Dustin Yager.
Attendees can explore the halls of Lillstreet’s 40,000 square foot multi-faceted building, get a head start on holiday shopping, and mingle with the lively community while enjoying complimentary bites and refreshments.
Visitors will not only have the first pick of artisan-made gifts—they’ll get to make some of their own, too! Free drop-in workshops for all ages will be programmed all day from 12–6PM in open studios on the first and third floors of the building. All ages and skill levels are welcome. Children must always be accompanied by an adult. All workshops are drop-in, and offered while supplies last. There is a limit of one project per participant.
Those less inclined to “DIY” can grab a seat to watch and learn straight from the pros themselves. Lillstreet instructors will lead demos all day long, exhibiting their unique styles and techniques while answering questions along the way. The full workshop and demo schedule will be available on Lillstreet’s Facebook Event Page in the weeks leading up to the party.
