Volunteer Grant Program
-
Interested in raising funds for your nonprofit organization? LSRCC invites neighborhood groups, schools, churches, and other local nonprofits to become part of the Volunteer Grant Program. This program helps the Chamber staff several of its largest events, while promoting and benefiting local nonprofit organizations.
Here's how the program works: There are various shifts with weighted dollar values; less pay for early shifts and more for the late shifts (when we need extra volunteers). Each organization will sign up for the shift(s) of their choice and recruit a specified number of volunteers to fill that time slot. Any volunteers secured above the specified number are considered "extra credit" and will be prorated (so your group earns additional funding for each volunteer you recruit as space permits). Priority of application submissions granted to LSRCC nonprofit members.
