Eat, drink, and be merry in fine Renaissance fashion at our grand fundraiser event on Saturday, February 27th! Bringing together the best of German culture, a hearty multiple course meal (catered by Himmel's) and a full program of entertainment warm up the winter night. There is something for everyone in this 'madrigal dinner' extravaganza, featuring delicious food, sumptuous costumes, beautiful music, hysterical improv comedy, historical trivia, juggling, dance, and more, imitating feasts in medieval castles of old. The concept is simple: 16 royal figures from European history return to earth for one night of merry-making. Acclaimed local vocal music ensemble
VOX 3 Collective, with lutenist Brandon Acker and other guest musicians, portray some of the most recognizable rulers of Germanic lands (including Charlemagne, Ludwig II, and Maria Theresa Habsburg) as they sing tunes by Morley, Dowland, Senfl, and Lassus (and even the Beatles!).
