Plants for Pennies: Propagation for Beginners
While our Western & Catalpa shop is closed for roof repairs, our friends at Nomadic Ant have graciously adopted our houseplants and agreed to co-host workshops until we reopen. THANK YOU!
Plant propagation is one of the most rewarding (and cheapest) experiences of being a Plant Parent. We’ll review some of the basic science behind propagating, different methods and discuss tips that’ll make you confident to begin your mad scientist experiment that is propagating. Warning: It’s addicting.
Class fee includes instruction and propagation demonstration.
PARKING/TRANSPORTATION INSTRUCTIONS:
There is public street parking on Western Ave, Wilson Ave and neighborhood side streets. Please check for signs if zone requires payment to park. If you’re biking to the event… (insert instructions here)
The closest CTA Train Station is the Western Brown Line Stop. From there, Esquina is just a short three minute walk. It is also accessible via the 49 bus with a stop at Western & Wilson right outside the door.
