Spice Merchant - Part Time

Lincoln Square Spice Co. (formerly Savory Spice) is interviewing for a part-time retail sales position.  Strong candidates will be personable and good communicators.  No formal culinary training is required but an abiding love of food and cooking is required. 

Job Description: Spice Merchants primarily work with retail customers to introduce them to the shop, help them find or discover flavor profiles they enjoy, answer their questions, and then assist them with the checkout process.  When not assisting customers, spice merchants stock the shelves, fill spices, and label bags and bottles.  Must be able to lift about 50 lbs. 

Hours/Shifts:  We are looking for someone who can regularly work both Saturday and Sunday.  One other day per week is likely depending on availability and flexibility to cover other shifts is highly desired.

Interest in assisting with social media accounts is a bonus.
