Getting Here By Car
Driving to Apple Fest? Allow yourself some extra time to find parking. Lincoln Square is a busy neighborhood, and parking availability will be limited during the festival.
Metered and residential street parking can be found throughout the surrounding neighborhood. When parking on residential streets, please carefully check posted signs for permit restrictions, time limits, street cleaning, and other parking regulations.
Public Parking Lots
Limited public parking is available at:
- 4450 N. Leavitt Street — Free parking lot behind Sulzer Regional Library
- 2315 W. Lawrence Avenue — Metered parking in the shopping center lot
- 4713 N. Western Avenue — Metered parking garage
Parking availability is not guaranteed, and lots may fill quickly during peak festival hours. Whenever possible, we encourage visitors to take CTA, Metra, bike, or rideshare.

Getting Here By Transit
Traveling via CTAApple Fest is easy to reach by public transportation! The CTA Brown Line Western Station is located just steps from the festival and is one of the most convenient ways to get here.
Several CTA bus routes also provide easy access to Lincoln Square:
- #49, #49B & #X49 Western — Exit near the Western Brown Line Station at Western & Leland.
- #11 Lincoln — Exit near the Western Brown Line Station. Please note that buses will be rerouted around the festival street closures.
- #81 Lawrence — Exit at Western & Lawrence, just across the street from the north end of the festival.
- #78 Montrose — Exit at Lincoln & Montrose and walk approximately one block north to the festival entrance at Lincoln & Sunnyside.
Travel Tip: Festival street closures may result in temporary CTA bus reroutes or relocated stops. We recommend checking the CTA website or your preferred transit app before heading to Apple Fest for the most up-to-date service information.
Traveling via METRAComing from the Far North Side or suburbs? The Ravenswood Metra Station is approximately a 15-minute walk from Apple Fest and is served by Metra’s Union Pacific North (UP-N) Line.
After exiting the station, head west toward Lincoln Square. Lawrence Avenue provides the most direct route to the north end of the festival, while Leland Avenue offers another neighborhood route toward Lincoln Square.

Getting Here By Bike
Biking is another great way to get to Apple Fest, particularly for visitors traveling from nearby neighborhoods.
Temporary bicycle parking will be available near several festival entrances:
- Along the Leland Greenway, near the Western/Leland and Lincoln/Leland entrances
- Near the Wilson Avenue entrance, east of Lincoln Avenue
- Near the Sunnyside Avenue entrance at the south end of the festival
Bike parking is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please remember to bring your own bike lock. -
Getting Here By Ride-Share
If you’re using Uber, Lyft, a taxi, or another rideshare service, we recommend using one of the following locations for convenient drop-off and pick-up near the festival:
- South Entrance: Lincoln & Sunnyside Avenues
Approximate address: 4500 N. Lincoln Avenue, Chicago, IL 60625 - Northwest Entrance: Western & Leland Avenues
Approximate address: 4700 N. Western Avenue, Chicago, IL 60625
Because Lincoln Avenue and several surrounding streets will be closed during the festival, drivers will not be able to drop passengers off directly on Lincoln Avenue within the festival footprint.For everyone’s safety, please arrange pick-ups and drop-offs away from active intersections and follow posted traffic restrictions.
