Union Dumpling House is hiring a reliable and friendly Front of House team member to join our team.

Our restaurant operates with self-service kiosks and table QR ordering, so this role focuses on creating a welcoming guest experience, keeping the front of house organized, and making sure both dine-in and takeout orders are handled smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive customer service
• Assist guests with kiosk and QR-code ordering when needed
• Monitor dine-in, pickup, and delivery orders to ensure timely service
• Pack and double-check takeout and delivery orders for accuracy
• Keep the dining room, front counter, beverage area, and patio clean and organized
• Refill supplies, utensils, sauces, napkins, and other guest-service items
• Communicate with the kitchen when guests have questions, special requests, or order concerns
• Help resolve guest issues professionally and promptly
• Assist with running food and supporting the team during busy periods
• Complete assigned side work and cleaning tasks during slower periods
• Follow restaurant food safety, sanitation, and operating procedures

• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Able to stay organized and work efficiently during busy periods
• Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform normal restaurant duties
• Restaurant or customer-service experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
• Weekend and evening availability is preferred
