Line Cooks

Union Dumpling House is looking for a dependable and efficient Line Cook to join our kitchen team.

We specialize in handcrafted dumplings, wontons, steamed buns, and other freshly prepared dishes. We are looking for someone who works with consistency, urgency, and attention to food quality.

Responsibilities

• Cook dumplings, wontons, buns, side dishes, and other menu items according to restaurant standards
• Follow recipes, portion sizes, cooking procedures, and presentation standards
• Prepare and organize ingredients before and during service
• Maintain speed and accuracy during busy lunch and dinner periods
• Monitor food quality and make sure every order is prepared correctly
• Coordinate with Front of House and other kitchen team members to keep orders moving efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift
• Follow food safety, sanitation, labeling, and storage procedures
• Restock ingredients and supplies as needed
• Complete opening, closing, and assigned kitchen side work

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen
• Strong attention to food quality and consistency
• Able to follow recipes and restaurant procedures
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform normal kitchen duties
• Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred
• Evening and weekend availability preferred
