Join Eurika for a wholesome practice to celebrate the Fall Equinox and to support a smooth transition into fall. As we move into darker days, we can use this potent time to draw from within and to lean into the healing field of silence.
You will nourish your body and nervous system by giving yourself permission to pause, to slow down and to attune to a more quiet, grounded and rested state of being.
In this two-hour workshop you will experience:
• Gentle floor-based movement to soften and open the body for pranayama (breath work)
• Guided progressive relaxation technique to release tension in the body
• Heavily propped restorative poses to cultivate space for silence and stillness
• Accessible mindfulness tools to support your nervous system in your daily life
To complement the experience Eurika will play a singing bowl and Koshi chimes. Handouts will be provided with workshop notes and inquiries for personal reflections. You are encouraged to bring a light scarf or a soft cloth/hand towel to use as a weightless eye cover to promote deeper relaxation response in restorative poses.
No yoga or meditation experience is needed to attend this workshop. Masks are optional, proof of vaccination required.
