WINTER BREW BREWERIES
Winter Brew is dedicated to showcasing Chicago's local breweries and providing an opportunity for attendees to chat with brewers. During the event you'll have over two dozen local craft beers to choose from, plus warm beverages featuring local distillers.
Specialty tapped beers will occur throughout the weekend on a first-come, first-served basis. Checkout the list of specialty beers and tapping schedule at the bottom of the page.

Northman Cider Co.
♦ Early Man (4.6% ABV) - Small batch version of the Everyman Kolsch. It is unfiltered, and dry Hopped with Nelson Sauvin hops.
♦ Soul Man (7.1% ABV) - American brown ale flavored with handmade, caramelized sugar and sea salt. This will have the option of the hot poker / Gustungling).
♦ Dicery Riley (5% ABV) - Irish Style Red Ale. Malty with a slight sweet, biscuity flavor and a mild finish..
♦ Can't Find A Bitter Man (5% ABV) - Extra Special Bitter. True to style, this dark amber-colored ESB has aromatics of caramel, toffee, and molasses.
♦ In Dark Trees (5.0% ABV) - Lightly roasted dark Czech-style lager with notes of toasted barley and spicy hops. Full bodied and full flavored, this is refreshing and super drinkable.
♦ Mosaic Juice Pants (7.0% ABV) - We took one of the key hops (and one of our favorites) from Juice Pants, and decided to release a variant using only Mosaic...and lots of it. Showcasing Mosaic hops and Mosaic cryo, this complex and tropically pungent juice bomb is exploding with notes of mango and hints of pine needle covered-passionfruit.
♦ Northman Pub Cider (6.5% ABV) - Signature cider, perfectly balanced from a blend of Michigan heirloom apples.
♦ Northman Rose (6.5% ABV) - The light pink, peach color is truly reminiscent of a Provencal Rosé and this expression appeals to cider and wine drinkers alike. The addition of wine greets the senses with berries and cherries from Nose to Finish.
♦ Banshee (5.4% ABV) - Hazy Pale Ale with Strata, Citra & Mosaic Hops! Soft notes of mango & passion fruit on the nose with just a little citrus and pine.
♦ URSA Major (6.5% ABV) - Baltic porter with notes of milk chocolate and coffee-like roast.
♦ Irish Coffee - Hexe Coffee, Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey, Whipped Cream
♦ Hard Hot Cider - Spiced Apple Cider, Northman Pub Cider, Apple Brandy.
Bottles & Cans
♦ Crispy Boy (4.6% ABV)- This flagship lager, is a German-style Pilsner lightly hopped with Saaz and fermented on Bayern Lager yeast.
♦ Le Jus (6% ABV)- Citra-Mosaic entry into the Hazy/Juicy IPA arms race and GABF Inaugural Gold Medalist in the Hazy/Juicy IPA category.
♦ GlühKriek served warm (6.5% ABV) - s a spiced version of Dovetail Vignette Kriek a spontaneously-fermented ale aged between one and two years in oak barrels and further aged and refermented on 300g/L of fresh Balaton cherries from Michigan. This tart beer is loaded with sour cherry flavor and has exceptional depth of character, with notes of oak, vanilla, almond and funk. Taste is bright, acidic, funky, sour cherry, jammy, vanilla, oak and almond in addition to the tart cherry pie notes there is a hep of mulling spices.
♦ Dovetail Pilsner (4.8% ABV) This pilsner is a showcase for Czech Saaz hops, brewed with 100% Pilsner malt and "heaven's water" - a Chicago-recreated version of the soft water of Plzen. It features the spiciness of the hop, as well as a very smooth and hospitable bitterness, and a lovely caramelization from the triple-decoction process. Spicy, full-bodied, satisfying (Pouring on Saturday).
♦ Vienna Lager (5.1% ABV) - Copper in color, with a warm, malty character, it's made with 100% Vienna malt and Styrian Golding hops. Rich, caramel-toned, inviting (Pouring on Sunday).
♦ Tropical ear Hug (9.9% ABV) - This double dry-hopped Imperial IPA grabs you with a big tropical beer hug - bursting with notes of mango, pineapple, peach, and citrus. Like a bear hug...but from a beer.

♦ Bodem IPA (6.7% ABV) - Idaho 7, Mosaic Cryo & Cashmere spread over a silk-rich grist. Ripe tropical fruit flesh with soft melon and berry.
♦ Tend Winter IPA (6.8% ABV) - Weighty Winter IPA brewed for wood smoke and fire to lift your mind out over the dim, long cold (Poured Saturday).
♦ Roses are Falling DIPA (6.7% ABV) - Idaho 7, Mosaic Cryo & Cashmere spread over a silk-rich grist. Ripe tropical fruit flesh with soft melon and berry (Poured Sunday).
♦ Semi-Dry Cider (6% ABV) - Fermented apples and a drop of honey from Right Bee's own beehives. It's a light, crisp, and refreshing, with just a touch of sweetness.
♦ Blossom Cider (6% ABV) - A fresh semi-dry cider with a burst of herbaceous lemon, a pleasant cherry blossom finish, and a drop of honey from our beehives. (Poured Saturday)
♦ Clementine Cider (6% ABV) - A Zesty semi-dry cider with a burst of bright clementine, a hint of smooth cinnamon, and a drop of honey from Right Bee's very own beehives (Poured Sunday).
♦ God Damn Pigeon Porter (8.2% ABV) - This is a porter with attitude. Notes of coffee, toast, and bittersweet cacao finish. Designed to take us out of Chicago's winter hellscape.
♦ God Damn Vanilla Pigeon Porter (6% ABV) - Toasty porter with decadent vanilla aromatics and a lightly sweet finish. A fresh semi-dry cider with a burst of herbaceous lemon, a pleasant cherry blossom finish, and a drop of honey from our beehives. (Poured Saturday)
♦ God Damn Raspberry Pigeon Porter (6% ABV) - Toasty porter with vibrant raspberry aroma for a chocolate-covered-raspberry finish. (Poured Sunday).
♦ Golden Lasso Cream Ale (5..6% ABV) - Honey Cream Ale.
♦ Cherry Van Damme Delicious (9.5% ABV) - Belgian Strong Golden Ale brewed with cherries (Poured Saturday)
♦ Treasure of the Crocodile Bog - Cranberry Pomegranate Lime Gose (Poured Sunday).
Specialty Tapping List & Schedule
♦ Dämlich Dunkel (4.8 % ABV) - Three types of Munich malt create a rich bread body. Notes of stone fruit and fig round out this extremely clean and drinkable lager.

♦ Coffee Cake Soul Man (7.1% ABV) - American brown ale flavored with handmade, caramelized sugar and sea salt. (*This beer will have the option of the hot poker / Gustungling.)

♦ Barrel-Aged Imperial Pajamas 2019 (13.3% ABV) - Imperial Oatmeal Stout aged for six-months in Heaven Hill Bourbon barrels. The result is a rich, chocolatey beer that's gotten good and cozy with coconut, vanilla, and oaky bourbon notes - comfort beer at its finest.
♦ Barrel-Aged Imperial Pajamas 2021 (13.3% ABV) - Imperial Oatmeal Stout aged for six-months in Heaven Hill Bourbon barrels. The result is a rich, chocolatey beer that's gotten good and cozy with coconut, vanilla, and oaky bourbon notes - comfort beer at its finest.
GOOSE ISLAND BEER CO.
♦ Bourbon County Weller Reserve (14.2% ABV) - Weller® 12-Year - Being one of the hardest to obtain and most sought after. Goose Island's original Bourbon County Stout is aged in 4 to 5-year-old barrels for one year. The added age of these Weller® barrels paired with an extra year of the beer in the barrel adds stronger barrel flavors and notes of dried dark fruit.
♦ Bourbon County Blanton's Barrel (15.4% ABV) - Heightened notes of dark chocolate, fudge and oak notes with a long lingering finish with warm aromatics of baked spices. Aged for 18 months in Blanton's Barrels.
HALF ACRE BEER COMPANY
♦ Big Hugs Imperial Coffee Stout (10% ABV) - Soft, natural stout splashed with very fine coffee. Rich drinking with notes of bakers chocolate, dried fruit and coffee.
♦ Daggertooth (6.5% ABV) - Balanced IPA that looks like a stout but still drinks like an IPA. Malt darkened using roasted black malt that's debittered. We then hop this with a more traditional schedule of Columbus cryo, Citra and El Dorado hops.
♦ Softcore Mutation Foeder Raspberries (4.5% ABV) - A mixed culture fermentation that spent 15 months in an American oak foeder while conditioning on raspberries. Complex and tart, this Framboise-inspired ale has the immense aroma of fresh picked raspberries and flavors of juicy, ripe fruit balanced with a soft tartness.
OLD IRVING BREWING
♦ Migration (11.5% ABV) - Imperial stout with coconut, cocoa nibs and Vanilla. Done in collaboration with Phase 3.
♦ Dark Incantations (8.5 % ABV) - Coffee stout done in collaboration with Parker Slade and the fine folks at Hexe Coffee. Beautiful roast notes and chocolate.
