• Del Sur Bakery Expanding Next Door To Ease Long Lines, Bring More Pastries To Its Fans

    RAVENSWOOD — The uber-popular Del Sur Bakery is temporarily closing next month to expand its footprint next door, its owner said.

    The bakery will close its 4639 N. Damen Ave. home in June as part of the construction plan. The goal is for customers to be able to enjoy Del Sur’s new, larger space by the end of summer — but hopefully sometime in July, owner Justin Lerias said.

    The last day of service will be June 14, so it will be open as the James Beard Awards and related festivities are getting underway in Chicago. Read More Here.
