A jookie Pignic, sponsored by Piggy Toes
jookie was named after a guinea pig so we are especially excited to finally host a guinea pig event!
Sponsored by our wonderful business neighbor Piggy Toes (who have both Lincoln Square and Lincoln Park locations), please join us Saturday, June 11th from 10 am to 2 pm as we host a “Pignic” with the help of our friend Olivia and her guinea pigs Blow Pop and Tootsie (featured above). Also helping us host the event is Alicia, a terrific volunteer from Red Door Animal Shelter and Critter Corral ( a guinea pig rescue). She’ll be bringing along her piggy trio of Fermi (the George Clooney of guinea pigs!), Agape and Tilli. Together, Olivia and Alicia will be on hand to talk about their guinea pigs and let guests interact with them. Alicia, who is also an animal communicator, will be available to talk about guinea pig adoption as well.
If you already have a guinea pig, please bring them along and have your photo taken together in our piggy photo booth! Seriously, it’s going to be pigtastic.
