Hybrid Restorative Yoga + Yoga Nidra: A Balm for Exhaustion and Depletion
with Kerry Maiorca
Tuesday, June 27th from 6:30-8:00pm CT
Are you feeling exhausted and depleted? Are your usual self-care strategies not filling your cup? Or are you simply craving a deeply rejuvenating, restful practice?
Summer is often full of fun activities, but sometimes too much fun is still just too much. It's essential to make time to prioritize doing less, slowing down, and refilling your tank.
If you're craving a quieting and sustained rest, join Kerry for a practice that begins with gentle mobilizing postures that will prepare you for several fully-propped, long-held restorative yoga poses. At the end of the practice you'll be treated to savasana accompanied by a yoga nidra (guided meditation) designed to support you in times of depletion and exhaustion.
Appropriate for all levels, however some previous yoga experience is recommended. You're encouraged to wear comfortable clothing, and bring any layers such as socks and a long-sleeve shirt to make sure you're warm and cozy.
For those attending in-person, bring your own mat if you have one. All other props provided.
For those attending virtually, gather any props you have or create your own from couch cushions and pillows. We'll use a bolster, two blocks, two blankets, and something to cover your eyes.
This workshop is hybrid. You may attend live in-person at Bloom or virtually. A recording will be made available for those who are not able to attend live.
