Meinl Infusions Neighborhood Dinner
How much do you love coffee and tea? Do you drink it every day? Don't you just love the smell and the taste of a freshly brewed cup? Well, we love it too! And so, the May Meinl Neighborhood Dinner is going to take coffee and tea to a whole new level. Yes, that's right; we are going to infuse our dinner with our coffees, espressos and teas.in each dish we make! Think Highland Toffee Japanese tea eggs, Meinl garden-harvested greens and radishes with fingerling potatoes. Imagine having broccoli rabe with Green Kimono tea-infused butter. There aren't any quacks here - we're seriously going to serve coffee roasted duck with spring onions and mushrooms. And if that wasn't enough to titillate your taste buds, we will also have Ginger Lemon tea-poached wild salmon served with baby bok choy. For dessert, a special and secret assortment from our Patisserie; no doubt it will finish the evening with a kick.as will the coffee, tea or espresso you drink with it!
This dinner will be accompanied by live classical music. Violinist Naomi Culp and Violist Sharon Tenhundfeld are both currently playing with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, the training orchestra for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
