The Chicago Back School Part 2: New Innovations in Back Pain Care and Diagnosis
The majority of people will experience neck or back pain at some point during their lives. 1,2 While only a handful of back structures commonly cause back pain, many additional factors have been shown to contribute to the perpetuation of back pain states. 3 This intricacy can make management of back pain conditions a challenge, and burdens patients who struggle to understand their conditions and treatment options.
Dr. Kenneth Weber, a Chiropractic Physician at Ravenswood Chiropractic & Wellness Center presents "New innovations in back pain: What's wrong with my back and how do I fix it?" the second part of the three part Chicago Back School series on Saturday, May 8th, 2010 at 2:00 PM.
During this session, Dr. Weber will help you understand and navigate through the diagnostic approach physicians use for back pain syndromes and provide an overview of multidisciplinary treatment approaches currently available for the treatment of back pain. By understanding the basics of the spine, you can apply self-management techniques with good success and make sound descions on your back care treatment strategy.
The session will end with an interactive, hands-on workshop reviewing concepts from the previous session and then instruction on intermediate spine stabilization exercises. The public is invited to attend this event, which will last approximately an hour and a half. Space is limited and attendees must reserve their seat(s) by calling (773) 878 - 7330 or by registering below. This event is free. Ravenswood Chiropractic & Wellness Center is located at 5215 North Ravenswood, Suite 105, Chicago, IL 60640. For more information please contact Stacy Greco or Nadia Hare at (773) 878 - 7330.
