Spice Merchant - Part Time/Seasonal

Lincoln Square Spice Co. (formerly Savory Spice) is interviewing for part-time retail sales positions.  Strong candidates will be personable and good communicators.  No formal culinary training is required but an abiding love of food and cooking is required. Being chatty about food is preferred. 

Job Description: Spice Merchants primarily work with retail customers to introduce them to the shop, help them find or discover flavor profiles they enjoy, answer their questions, and then assist them with the checkout process.  When not assisting customers, spice merchants stock the shelves, fill spices, and label bags and bottles.  Must be able to lift about 50 lbs. 

Hours/Shifts:  We are looking for someone who can regularly work Saturday and Sunday.  Several other days per week is likely depending on availability. Flexibility to cover other shifts is highly desired.
