A Seed of Softness: Moving Meditation + Sound Bath

As spring is firmly setting its green footprint on Mother Earth and nature is becoming more alive, what is your footprint that you are making? What does your inner nature look like? What seeds have you been planting during this season of awakening?
Whether you have a clear answer to these questions, or are curious how to cultivate your reflection, join Eurika for a 2-hour practice of reflection and openness as you plant your own seed of softness. This in-person workshop will guide you through 3-stages of meditative experience alongside intentional movement, building softness in the body, mind & spirit. You can expect:
This workshop will leave you feeling rooted and refreshed in softness. All bodies and lived experiences are welcome. No prior yoga or meditation knowledge is needed.
- Moving Meditation: A 35-minute slow- flow yoga sequence paired with a breath practice known to positively affect blood pressure & mood. Eurika will play a soundtrack metronome that is synchronized with a 5-second inhale/exhale breath technique, challenging you to a soothing breath pattern.
- Restorative Asana: Ground your moving meditation in quiet, passively held, propped poses and receive a guided meditation created by Eurika, titled “A Seed of Softness”.
- Sound Bath Savasana: Relax into 30 minutes of healing sound vibrations of the ocean drum, crystal bowls, and Koshi chimes. Explore the freedom to receive the sound bath in the way that feels welcoming and accessible to you! You may choose one supported position, find a comfortable seat, or gently move throughout the experience.
You are invited to bring an optional eye pillow, light scarf, or a soft cloth as a lightweight cover for your eyes to shield the light and enhance your relaxation response in Savasana. All other props such as blankets, blocks, and bolsters, are provided onsite at Bloom.
