Retail Sales Associate for Street Festivals

Job Overview

We’re looking for an energetic, reliable Sales Person/Brand Ambassador focused on selling our products and bringing our story to life at festivals in the Chicagoland area.

In this role, you will be representing our brand and values, providing an exceptional customer experience and driving sales in a fun and fast-paced environment. Our team members utilize individuality, personal motivation, effective communication and strong product knowledge to fulfill sales and maintain brand image. The ideal candidate will be independently driven, have a passion for helping customers find the right products to suit their style and excel at building excitement for sustainable fashion and social impact.

What You’ll Do:

• Represent Ecodunia’s mission of eco-conscious, fair-trade craftsmanship with pride
• Set up and tear down tents, tables, signage, and product displays at (primarily) outdoor events
• Load and unload inventory and supplies
• Greet customers, engage them warmly, and confidently close sales
• Process sales through a mobile POS system (Shopify)
• Maintain a clean, organized, visually appealing booth
• Keep an accurate cash and inventory log at each event

• Comfortable with mobile devices for processing sales
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Physically able to lift and carry tents, bins, and equipment
• Flexibility
• Able to work outdoors in all conditions (rain or shine)

Preferred but not required:

• Valid driver’s license and a care are a PLUS
• Previous experience in retail, events, farmers markets, or festival sales
