IRVING PARK — On a quiet Northwest Side block, pretty cool things are taking shape.
Pretty Cool Ice Cream, the sweet treat company with a store in Logan Square, is expanding with a production facility in Irving Park that will help the company triple its output to meet demand. The new facility, set to start baking and freezing treats next week, is one of several evolutions on the horizon for Pretty Cool Ice Cream as it approaches its eighth anniversary in August.
