LINCOLN SQUARE — The Friendship Center is expanding its pet pantry program to help people struggling to afford caring for their pet as the cost of living keeps rising.
The pet food pantry at The Friendship Center, 2711 W. Lawrence Ave., has been around since 2013, distributing food for cats and dogs as well as items like leashes and kitty litter during its once-a-month event.
Starting Monday, the pet pantry will be available to neighbors multiple days a week, said Friendship Center Executive Director Nadia J. Jimenez. Read More Here.
